Floresco Design Creations has temporarily closed its doors.

My husband and I are happily expecting our second child, due in the spring of 2008. While I love capturing and preserving all of your memories, and look forward to doing so again in the future, I'm sure you will agree that taking time to create those memories is even more important. With that in mind, I have decided to temporarily close my business to allow me to spend more time with my family and prepare for our upcoming addition.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, especially during the holiday season. I hope to reopen Floresco's doors once again in late summer to early fall and when I do, I hope that you all have also captured your own special memories which we can use to create some priceless Floresco Design Creations.

A. Of course you can!! Floresco Design Creations is happy to capture the spirit and emotion behind all the special moments of your life, whether the subject of your piece is your new baby or your new car!

Q. I already have a picture frame I want to use. Can you just send me what goes in it?
A. Yes! For a standard sized (8"x10") Floresco Design Creation, simply choose "Unframed Floresco Design Creation" on our Products page. If your frame is not a standard size, simply fill out our special order form and we will send you a quote based on the information you have provided. With every unframed order, it is important that you include the exact measurements of the glass in the "additional information" box of our order form. Though Floresco Design Creations cannot guarantee an exact fit, providing these dimensions will allow us to obtain the best possible fit for your frame and photographs.

Q. Why would I want to buy prints of my Floresco Design Creation from you when I can just make photocopies myself?
A. Floresco Design Creation uses industry grade color copying machines to reproduce your Floresco Design Creation on high quality archival photo paper. We make sure that the colors and textures of your piece are well represented in each print.

Q. I ordered a Floresco Design Creation last month and now I want to order a print. Can you send me one?
A. Yes!! Before your order is shipped out, it is scanned in at a high resolution using a professional grade scanner and stored for later reproduction. To order additional prints, simply contact our Ordering Department at:

Q. Are your materials guaranteed to last?
A. All materials used in the making of your Floresco Design Creation are photo safe and archival quality. This means that the products used should not fade, discolor or harm your pictures in any way. The acid-free content of these materials will help your Floresco Design Creation maintain its beauty in the years to come.

Q. What do you do with all of the contact information I give you in the order form?
A. Floresco Design Creations respects your right to privacy. We will not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our customers to any third party. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Q. Why do you ask so many questions on your order form?
A. Part of the design process involved in the making of your Floresco Design Creation is deciding on a look, feel and overall theme for the piece. We want each Floresco Design Creation to be unique and fit the individual photos provided. By filling out the additional information portion of our order form, you are helping the designer to increase the individuality of the piece.

Q. I am unable to use PayPal for payment, but I still want to place an order. Do you accept other forms of payment?
A. PayPal is a safe and secure method of payment and was chosen to speed up the ordering process. However, if you are unable to use PayPal, Floresco Design Creations will accept cashiers check or money orders made out to Floresco Design Creations and sent via mail to:

To pay for your order using cashier's check or money order, you can order online and choose "Pay by Postal Order", then send your payment to the address above. Be sure to include your name and email address with your payment.

Once we have received payment for your order, we will begin the design process. Please note, due to past payment issues, we CANNOT begin the design process until we have received your payment. You will be notified via email* when your order is received.

For non-standard size designs, simply submit your Special Order Quote Request. A quote will be emailed* to you within 48 business hours of receipt of quote request, as well as instructions for photo and payment submission should you choose to accept the quote.

*If no email address is provided, correspondence will be sent via United States Mail.

Q. My pictures are not in digital format. Can I still place an order?
A. If you do not have digital versions of your photos or if the scans you have are not high enough resolution, you may mail your photographs to:

Please be sure to package your photographs carefully for shipping (placing your photographs in a ziplock bag and putting cardboard or cardstock on either side of them is strongly suggested) and mark on the shipping container "Photographs: Do NOT Bend" to avoid damage to the photographs during transport. Floresco Design Creations is not responsible for any damage done to photographs during shipment to us and you are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance if your photographs are particularly valuable.

NOTE: We highly recommend NOT sending heirloom photographs through the mail. Old photographs are often brittle and do not travel well. Further, these photographs are usually irreplaceable because a backup print or negative does not exist. If you wish to use the originals of this type of photograph in your Floresco Design Creation, the following methods may be used to ensure that they stay safely within your family:

1.) Scan or take digital pictures of your photographs and send the digital images to us for viewing during the normal ordering process. Include the exact dimensions of your photographs with your order and let us know that you will be using the originals in the actual piece. We will use the digital images to help us design your Floresco Design Creation and your piece will be sent with spaces for you to place your photographs and the archival adhesive for you to do so.

2.)Make photocopies (preferably color copies if your photographs are sepia toned or contain any color) and send them to us via mail. We will then create your Floresco Design Creation using the same method discussed in paragraph 1. Please note in your order form that photocopies of your piece will be arriving via mail.

If you do decide to send your archival photographs through the mail, we will be happy to use them to create your piece. However, we cannot stress highly enough the use of proper packaging and shipping insurance. This is a small expense to protect such priceless treasures.

When placing your order, be sure to note within the "Additional Comments" box of our order form that you will be sending your photographs via mail. Include your name and contact information with your photographs.

Please note, sending photographs via mail will result in an increase in production time.

Q. The photographs that I am sending you are not the appropriate 5x7 or wallet size? Can I still use them?
A. Of course! Your Floresco Design Creation can be designed to accommodate any size photographs, though using multiple large photographs for your piece will affect the layout, limiting the number of embellishments and phrases used. If we feel that the photographs you have supplied will not properly fit within your Floresco Design Creation, we will contact you to discuss options before proceeding further with the piece.

If you would prefer us to resize the photographs you have provided and use the resized reproductions in your piece, simply note this within your order form. However, photographs that will need resized for your piece (especially those needing enlarged) may have a slightly lower photo quality to them. If we feel the resulting quality is too low, we will contact you to discuss alternative options.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. The Standard Floresco Design Creation can take up to 2-3 weeks to produce, depending on the lead-time for photo development (Floresco Design Creations uses an outside vendor for processing), production of the piece and shipping. Additional time will be needed if we must wait for your payment or photographs to arrive via mail. Floresco Design Creations tries their hardest to get your piece to you as quickly as possible.

For all orders where an email address is provided, you will receive a shipment notice via email when your order is sent out.
